Chicken & Bacon PateSyn free 8oz chicken livers
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp mixed herbs
salt & black pepper
4oz cooked bacon, chopped
tub of very low fat fromage frais Method:
1. Peel and chop the onion, peel and crush the garlic, chop the bacon.
2. Spray a frying pan with Fry Light and cook the chopped onion, mixed herbs and crushed garlic until tender. Add the chicken livers and fry for 7 minutes, add the bacon and cook for a further 3 minutes, season to the preferred taste.
3. Place the mixture from the frying pan into a blender, add a spoonful of Fromage Frais and blend until the mixture is smooth. If too coarse, keep adding the Fromage Frais a bit at a time until you reach the preferred consistency. Tuna pate Syn free 1x tin of tuna
handful of chives
½ tub of quark
salt and freshly ground black pepper Blend all together and chill.
2 tins mackerel fillets in tomato sauce
250g/9oz quark soft cheese
Finely grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Blend all together and chill.
