This week’s challenge over at C.R.A.F.T. Challenge is Black, Lime Green and Lilac and at Cute Card Thursday is Reuse, Renew, Recycle!
The lilac swirled paper is two scraps that have been knocking around for ages. I added a piece of scrap black card across the centre which was covered by lime green ribbon from a birthday present wrapping and then a narrower piece of black, which was actually recycled from the hanging straps off a new dress. (I always trim them off as they usually end up peeping out of armholes etc – they are great for cardmaking!)
I used a Thank You sentiment cut out of a used card and added a sequin and gem to cover a slight mark on it. Finished the card off with lime and lilac flowers.
