Just posted some of these to my chums on CB forum – made some fabby ATCs to send out with them – bit unusual if I say so myself
I’ll post a picture in a few days so as to not spoil the surprise!

Lil’ Deb’s Happy Place: Blog candy
This lovely lady is offering some ab fab blog candy and all you have to do is leave a message and a link to your blog post! What a generous lady
Printed and coloured four Dotties and made them into cards. Two for birthdays at church and the other two to go into the sale box!

Those are a better size!!! sussed how to reduce size on photobucket!
Hmmm … seem to be in a bit of a ‘blue’ mood looking at the colours I’ve used!
Another day another challenge … I liked the simplicity and geometricity of the CPS #65 layout – I’m a great one for symmetry in my cards.

I goy together some matching papers and cut some rectangles out of them and was going to layer them symmetricaly on top of one another. Then at the last moment I decided to layer them slightly higgledy piggledy.

Papermania orange card and then papers from readicut and embellishments from my stash
Another first
This time for the Let’s Get Crafting Challenge on the Crafts Beautiful Forum – had to use the ‘Words and Verses’ kit to produce a project. I was reviewing some holiday photos for another challenge and thought that these fitted well with a theme so I took a deep breath and did a 12×12 scrapbook page.
Papermania paper formed the background and papermania card was used for the frames.
The main photo formed the letter ‘G’ and I used the flock letters from the kit for ‘one fishing’, using Whispers pens to ’shadow’ the letters and make them stand out more. I doodled on the ‘G’ to draw out the shape of the vellum ‘bubbles’.
I also used the rub ons from the kit on the photo with the fish in it.

The vellum bubbles are actually meant to be snow – they came out of a book reduced to 20p at ‘The Works’. I cut a spiral out to reflect the ripples from the ‘fish’ photo and to provide a background to link the three photos together. I shadowed the bubbles on the vellum with turquoise glitter glue and also drew some ‘alpha’ fish to add decoration to the whole page.

I added the final photo and a caption produced in WORD – drawing a few waves in with a turquoise glitter pen.

And finally – here’s the whole thing!

I have just succumbed and bought some George and Dottie from Charmed Cards and Crafts.
My son has been awake since 2.30am and so have I! so i decided to make good use of my time while trying to keep him quiet so hubby could get some sleep
Here’s the results – George coloured with Whispers pens. My first time trying watercolouring – not a bad effort – even if I do say so myself! For some strange reason the brown has come out purple on my scanner – let me say that George is totally traditional and is not dying his hair purple!!!
My friend – see post below – also wanted a card for her 9 year old niece (the handbag one is 11) – had a great inspiration in the middle of the night
and then promptly forgot it this morning
So … had some templates for fairy doors from a Do-crafts goody bag … out came some red card and I made a door. Added the words on white paper behind the door and used some Craft Beautiful downloaded paper to make a flowery door. Added a brad for a handle and then got brave and doodled again!!!!

I stuck the door on some contrasting pale green from my readicut stash of paper and I used some free flowers from a magazine – lost track of which one! – to add to the card. I used a clear stamp i got off ebay to stamp various gold flower images to the remaining red strip at the top and added some more flowers. Finished with a border strip from Lakeland. Hope my friend and the niece like them!!!

A friend rang last night and asked if I could do a card for Wedsnesday for her niece’s birthday. No pressure then
I made a handbag shaped card – a first for me – based it on a project from Let’s make cards Magazine – issue 12. The main bag paper is from Craft Beautiful free downloads. The flap is from some Papermania 12×12 paper. The ribbon came from a budget stand at the Range – £1 for several themed lengths. The small bag and jewel star came from my poundland trip in York a while back. The other first is some doodling around the sentiment – inspired by my friend Jules and her excellent doodling that I’ve seen on her blog.
